so, here i am. May 15th 2015. i’ve got a trio, i’ve got some gigs, a cd, and apparently a website. (is that enough commas for one sentence)?
i haven’t written or posted or updated or added anything to my brand spanking new website. i’m going to try to change that.
first of all, the CD “the blue in everything”. you can hear it on Soundcloud and you can buy it from CD Baby and download it from Itunes. it’s a bunch of blues-related songs i’ve written. my trio and i recorded it at my drummers studio. we did some of the overdubs at my place. the trio is Alan Springer on guitar and Dan Legault on drums. Dimitri Lebel-Alexandre has been our live guitar player for the past while cuz Alan’s been off having fun making music elsewhere. when he gets back i’m going to have a problem cuz i love both guitarists. you should be so lucky to have such problems; too many good players.
and then there’s the matter of actually letting people know when and where i’m playing. i’m going to try to fix that. most of my gigs are pub gigs where i play all the standard stuff that people like to hear when they’re enjoying a pint and some company. and i play with a lot of other bands that do the same gigs. i guess i’ll let you know about all of these gigs as well as the ones where we’re playing our own stuff. it’s all music and i enjoy all of it.
